About Melissa
Melissa is beyond grateful for her clients and feels privileged to walk with them on their journey. She offers empathy, compassion, and a level of understanding of chronic illness from lived experience, as well as years of working with those individuals and families affected. She provides a safe space where all parts of a person are welcome. She is ecstatic to work amongst her peers to offer mind/body/soul healing. Previously, she worked at Green Tara Wellness Center, an integrative and spiritually based center, the Lyme and PANS Treatment Center, and the Brookline Community Mental Health Center. Melissa has also worked in elder protective services, emergency housing services for runaway and homeless youth, and provided counseling support in a residential setting.

Melissa is the Vice President of the New England PANS/PANDAS Parents Association (NEPANS.org) where she serves as a parent support specialist, co-facilitates monthly caregiver support groups, and provides training to universities, public and private schools, nursing staff, and other health professional organizations. Melissa also serves on the Department of Public Health PANS/PANDAS Advisory Counsel for MA, as the clinical social worker.

Melissa Glynn-Hyman, LICSW, has over twenty years of clinical experience working with children, adults, and families. She received her Master of Social Work from Simmons University and has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Melissa specializes in providing both psychotherapy and consultation for individuals and their families diagnosed with PANS/PANDAS, Lyme Disease and co-infections, chronic autoimmune disease, and/or environmental toxicity resulting in neuropsychiatric symptoms.
